The Mid-American Regional Council (MARC) is a non-profit association of city and county governments in the region shown in the figure to the right. MARC promotes cooperation and solutions for issues that affect the community it serves.
The Climate Action Plan was created in 2020 by Climate Action KC and MARC, in conjunction with community members and leaders.
The plan proposes a flexible framework to help mitigate climate change by achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
