Brendan joined the company in 2010 as Director of Finance. A year later, he was promoted to Vice President of Finance, and in 2013 he became Chief Financial Officer. Throughout his time with the company, he has also served as General Counsel. Brendan holds an undergraduate degree from William Jewel College and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a licensed certified public accountant and lawyer.
Brendan is Chairperson of the Editorial Advisory Board for Building Profits, a quarterly magazine published by the Construction Financial Management Association, the leading trade organization for finance professionals in the construction industry. Additionally he is a Board member of Literacy KC, an organization based in Kansas City that helps adults learn how to read and develop related workforce readiness skills.
Prior to joining the company, Brendan worked for three years as a CPA at Arthur Andersen LLP, and 8 years as a corporate lawyer at Husch Blackwell LLP. He is one of the three members of the Holdings Board of Directors.
